The Fourth View [Integrity]
Yogiraj Charles formulated The Fourth View as a clear and concise process toward self-actualization. Through this model, he has shown ways we knowingly and unknowingly tyrannize ourselves and others, thus arresting our human development and capacity for relating effectively. One who assimilates the capacity to hold a Fourth View is:
· Utilizing resources effectively and sustainably
· Aware of potential and competent to manifest potential
· Taking a stance and being an adaptive learner
· Non-complicit with oppression
· Empowering others and developing strong allies
Self-oppression fosters doubt and buries one in recrimination. Conversely, holding oneself hostage to always being best, or right, or as Yogiraj Charles puts it, “up with tyranny”, buries one in recrimination unknowingly. Both tendencies interrupt positive and productive relating. Taking a stance of being equal is no cake walk either. The Fourth View offers wisdom for these common tendencies and a path toward integral success.
