Professional's Meditation and Sustainable High
Performance Seminar
Oak Ridge Conference
Center
July 7 through 9,
2010
There is an old Far East phrase, 'Riding the Tiger'. In our times the
story would go that if you are among those who can successfully ride the
tiger of the modern world without being thrown off and eaten, you will
be able to gain an upper hand. This can happen through a wise and
matured life.
The creative dilemma confronting a matured life is to know that
there is more to life than what is offered by a modern world limited to
its narrow solutions.
Is your creative genius being squandered on the treadmill
offered as an infinite road to success? Is the narrow currency of money
and short−lived status of position being offered as a just and final
reward?
Is your organization superstitiously operating with outmoded
instincts? Have you found it unable to wean itself from best practices that have long been
in need of retirement?
Both you and the institutions around you have changed. But the
more both have changed, the more each has stayed the same. The question
is − Can
you ride the tiger without being eaten? Do you have the skills, inner
character, and insight to guide the tiger of the modern world if you do
get the upper hand?
Meditation and the insight it delivers about the inner workings
of humanity, organizations, family and your inner nature are the next
steps in understanding what it takes to ride the tiger and develop the
character necessary to guide it toward sustainable destinations.
This seminar offers:
Insight into the biology of high performance.
The skill
of meditation.
The use of
meditation′s insight to raise individual and business performance.
Dialogue about standards of leadership that will
take us individually and collectively in sustainable directions.
